Deployment Specialist

Indianapolis, Indiana

The deployment specialist is responsible for supporting clients in the deployment of their email campaigns, and is focused on subscriber segmentation, executing test sends, preparing the final subscriber list, and scheduling the send.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with members of the Balance and client team to manage, create, and deploy campaigns on behalf of clients by executing tasks related to audience segmentation, email scheduling, and email sending.
  • Manage subscriber data, import, and segmentation using a combination of email application tools and database queries.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and other activities to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of email deployments.
  • Monitor the campaign post-deployment to validate completion.
  • Develop robust campaign documentation, including customer specific work instructions.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Communications or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with the retrieval and uploading of data files within multiple systems and environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and customer deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and problem solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role.
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), or related email software, and related technologies such as HTML and CSS.

Digital Marketing Consultant

Indianapolis, Indiana

The digital marketing consultant serves as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud service specialist and is responsible for account implementation, enabling clients on new and existing Marketing Cloud functionality, building automated campaigns and journeys, and providing best practices guidance and consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management and execution of client services that may include marketing consulting, landing pages, campaign automation, journey builder, custom templates, Salesforce integration, new account implementation, and product enablement.
  • Coordinate as needed with internal and external resources to ensure client success.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to clients and colleagues to ensure project success.
  • Provide proactive service to a variety of clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Present a professional, confident, and poised demeanor.

Requirements

  • Fluency in email marketing, campaign-specific landing pages, opt-in forms, and subscription centers
  • Minimum of two years client-facing Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
  • Knowledge of most common Salesforce Marketing Cloud account types and optional features, email marketing best practices, and strategic consulting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and client relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and customer deadlines with minimal oversight
  • Excellent reasoning and analytical skills

Program Manager

Indianapolis, Indiana

The Program Manager will be directly responsible for the successful operations of a focused number of client programs. A program is an ongoing Services engagement in which a team of consultants is aligned against the continuous execution of work on behalf of a specific client. In this role, the Program Manager will own the relationship between Balance Digital Marketing and one key client account. A successful Program Manager leverages deep application knowledge in combination with business and marketing domain expertise to drive a successful program.

Responsibilities

  • Become deeply embedded in the client's business and processes to become a subject matter expert regarding the client's marketing needs.
  • Direct the evolution of the program through continuous risk and optimization assessments.
  • Oversee teams executing work on behalf of the program to ensure successful completion of deliverables.
  • Manage the program's budget, and analyze the overall profitability of the account.
  • Ensure statements of work properly align Salesforce Marketing Cloud's products and Balance Digital Marketing services with the client's business and technology needs.
  • Coordinate and manage sub-contract resources as needed in the role.
  • Communicate frequently with and on behalf of the client to scope new pieces of work, direct projects, manage client expectations, escalate risks, and report on performance.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in consulting and project management within the email marketing space
